Shave for a Cure

Holy Spirit College students have raised over $7000 for the Leukaemia Foundation’s Shave for a Cure.

Campus Minister, Toni McNeill, and eight students; Kathryn Knoll (Year 9), Clayton Willing (Year 10), Blake Muscat (Year 8), Madison Gauci (Year 9), Benjamin Martin (Year 9), Seth Harris (Year 8), Trent Wooldridge (Year 8) and Jake Mallet (Year 10) all had their heads shaved for this worthy cause.

Year 9 student, Kathryn Knoll, raised over $2000 and states “I’ve made a few videos, and been cooking most nights for bake sales and asking for donations door-to-door. I was scared and nervous to shave my hair off but now I’m so happy and proud to have raised money for this cause. I appreciate everyone who donated and supported me.”

Donations to the team or individuals at Holy Spirit College can still be made online at https://my.leukaemiafoundation.org.au/HolySpiritCollege .
