Allergy Awareness – Anaphylaxis
There are a number of students at Holy Spirit College with life threatening allergies (anaphylaxis), who are at high risk of experiencing EXTREME (even life-threatening) anaphylactic reactions in certain circumstances. Please consider when packing lunches and avoid nuts, nut products and eggs. For more information please click here for Anaphylaxis Notice.
HSC Cross Country Carnival - 2024
On Thursday, 28 March, Holy Spirit College is holding their annual Inter-house Cross Country Carnival. This year, there will be a change of events, as we will be splitting our competitive races from our Fun Run.
Students wishing to compete at Mackay District School level, as well as contribute points towards age champion, will be racing against others in their own age group. This will make for a quick event with the College’s best putting on a showcase running event. We will then move into a fun run, where all students will be encouraged to get points for their House!

Whole School ‘Fun Run’ Map
- U12 – U19 years – 4km
To ensure safety in the sun, student must wear the following:
- College Cap or Bucket Hat
- Enclosed footwear
- Appropriate running attire or the College Sport Uniform
