Teacher Assistant (Visual Arts)

An exciting opportunity exists for a Teacher Assistant within our Visual Arts department. The Teacher Assistant (Visual Arts) sources and maintains specialty Art supplies for the Visual Art Department and assists Teachers with student learning, either individually or in groups. 

This is a term-time (25hpw) continuing position commencing from January 2025 or as negotiated with the successful applicant.

Campus Minister

Term Time, commencing January 2025

An exciting opportunity exists to join the team at Holy Spirit College, in the position of Campus Minister. This is a term-time continuing position, commencing January 2025.

The Campus Minister is dedicated to nurturing the pastoral and spiritual well-being of the entire college community. This role works closely with the Assistant Principal: Mission, the Leadership Team, the Parish Priest, Religious Education Teachers, and Year Level Deans. 

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate:

Your Role

Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants to join the staff of Holy Spirit College as a Canteen Assistant. These are term-time positions, commencing from January 2025 or as negotiated with the successful applicant. 

  • 1 x Term-Time continuing position for 35hpw
  • 1 x Term-Time continuing position for 20hpw

Typical duties include:

  • Ordering stock from approved, reliable suppliers.
  • Receiving and checking all supplies against invoices and delivery dockets, signing same before handing over to the Principal or nominee for payment.
  • Handling money and correct balancing of same, counting the daily takings and ensuring that daily takings are delivered to the Finance Assistant for banking.
  • Follow workplace Health and Safety procedures in relation to the preparation of food and the cleanliness/hygiene of the tuckshop.
  • Daily cleaning/tidying of the Tuckshop area.
  • Ensuring all stock is stored in a tidy and clean manner.
  • Ensuring a high standard of customer service and hygiene is maintained.

Your Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an Administration Assistant (Leadership Support). This is a term-time continuing position, working 38 hours per week, commencing January 2025 or as negotiated with the successful applicant. 

This role will be providing administrative support to five Leadership Team members. This is a term time continuing position, working 38 hours per week, commencing immediately.

Successful applicants for this position will be able to demonstrate:

Your Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an Administration Assistant (IT Helpdesk). This is a term-time continuing position, working 30 hours per week, commencing January 2025 or as negotiated with the successful applicant. 

The Administration Assistant (IT Helpdesk) provides support to the Information Technology Department and will be the first point of contact. As part of your role, you will assess and refer requests from staff, students and parents.

Other duties include:

  • Within routine methods and procedures, communicate via phone or email with students, parents, staff and warranty technicians regarding repairs and warranties of notebooks issued/purchased through the College.
  • Carry out routine technical checks to assess damage, reimage notebooks, apply software updates, connect notebooks to the College network and undertake minor repairs.
  • Carry out a wide range of administrative tasks including but not limited to the creation of Excel spreadsheets to record data relating to purchases, breakages and repair scheduling for the IT Services Department.
  • Assist with the preparation of documentation relating to DAPR (Digital Assistant Program).
  • Prepare and monitor student computer rolls, breakage reports and diary notes from parents, referring identified studentship issues to the Responsible Thinking Program Leader

Your Role

An exciting opportunity exists to join the team at Holy Spirit College, in the position of Maintenance Assistant, commencing from January 2025 or as negotiated with the successful applicant. 

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role performs daily maintenance tasks including, gardening and mowing, grounds beautification, rubbish collection, room and event set-up and other tasks as required. This position is part-time, 20 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 2:00pm - 6:00pm).
